Bayou City Noir CLOSING RECEPTION & SILENT AUCTION

August 13, 2011, 6:00 PM

The Museum of Printing History and Houston Arts and Media are pleased to host a Reception and Silent Auction to commemorate the closing of the exhibition Bayou City Noir: The Photography of Marvin Zindler.

Since the March 2011 opening, Bayou City Noir has proven to be one of the museum’s most popular exhibitions in recent years. During the course of its run, it has received extensive press coverage on television and in print.

Join us on Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 6-8 pm for the last chance to view the exhibition and to take home a framed piece of Houston history. All framed photographs are available for purchase by silent auction, going to the person placing the highest bid by 8pm on Saturday, August 13, 2011.

Proceeds benefit Houston Arts and Media and the Museum of Printing History.

Photos reprinted courtesy of Story Sloane’s Gallery. The Museum of Printing History is funded in part by grants from the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance. Framing is generously underwritten by Texas Art Supply.
