Flashes of Hope

February 11, 2010– April 24, 2010

In conjunction with FotoFest 2010, we are pleased to present Flashes of Hope. Flashes of Hope is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating uplifting portraits of children fighting cancer and other life threatening illnesses. The portraits help children feel better about their changing appearance by celebrating it. For families of terminally ill children, it's especially important to have a portrait that preserves forever the beauty, grace and dignity of their child.

This exhibition highlights the portraits of the two Houston chapters of Flashes of Hope: MD Anderson and Texas Children's Hospital. Photographers are: Tom Callins, George Craig, Dave Einsel, Troy Fields, Jeff Fitlow, Michael Hart, Scott Kohn, Chris Kuhlman, Nathan Lindstrom, Thaine Manske, Hall Puckett, Kim Riley, Sofia van der Dys, Wes Whiddon, and other members of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP).
